Donald Joseph Qualls - better called DJ Qualls - is a model, actor, and producer from the United States. Alongside the Road Trip role, he was also a part of The New Guy Hustle & Flow in addition to The Core. The actor has also been featured in more than 22 shows on television including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and others. Qualls was able to beat Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was first diagnosed at the age of 14 of age. Within two years, the cancer has gone into Remission. However, the initial treatment was very detrimental on his health, and slowed growth. Once he was taking on the role of an actor, financial security was his aim. He had experienced the poverty of his youth. Interviewer stated that as he had lived so sparingly for such a long time I was in need of financial stability to feel in control. The man also thinks back on his own childhood and wants to take action on the issue of bullying. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. On and off film, DJ's character would love to be a father. But he says "Directors don't cast my in those roles." He'd like to be the father of his child one day to be able to devote more time to his son and less to his career.
